Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves.
- Promote sales by offering product information and suggestive selling techniques.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with customers.
- Experience operating a cash register and handling cash transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, as it allows for effective communication with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculating totals.
- Previous experience in jewelry or electronics sales is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong sales skills to promote products and upsell when appropriate.
