We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator.
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office by managing appointment scheduling and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments, ensuring proper allocation of time slots and resources - Coordinate with medical staff to ensure availability for appointments - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical systems (e.

, Epic) - Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care - Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus - Previous experience working in an office or medical setting preferred - Proficient in using computer systems and software, including electronic medical record systems - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is beneficial We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
